unfinished study in river stone, signed on the side. The owner recounts that Arturo Martini donated this high relief to the Placidi family, as a sign of gratitude for the long hospitality given to the artist himself in Anticoli Corrado, during the 1930s. It could therefore be assumed that this is a study for the realization of "La sete", the famous work by Martini, now preserved in the Museo del Novecento in Milan, created in those years
