Domenico Morelli

The drawing presented here by Domenico Morelli, leader of Neapolitan painting and one of the most original and complex personalities of the Italian nineteenth century, shows the great graphic wisdom of the Master. His working procedure is easily deduced from the drawing, within which graphic studies constituted irreplaceable pieces of the creative path, often finding relationships between drawings and pictorial works of reference.
