The married couple, portrayed on oval-trimmed canvas, are represented on their wedding day.
The painting of the groom shows two spots with color drops: on the tailcoat and a small gap in the background.
The portrait of the bride appears in good condition except for small spots of humidity visible in the lighter parts. There are no restorations visible on examination with Wood's Lamp. The frames show some detachment of gilding.
